San Martín Texmelucan

Angelópolis

San Martín Texmelucan, to the northwest of the city of Puebla, is well known for the great textile tianguis that on Tuesday floods every corner of the city.

But its attractions for the tourist are many more: the former estate of Polaxtla, with an interesting museum, or the former estate of Chautla, with large green areas around a lake chaired by an English palace, where you can fish. A visit through the center of the town discovers the colonial ex-convent of Santa María Magdalena, with its beautiful churrigueresque altarpiece.

COLINDANCES

To the north with San Matías Tlalancaleca and state of Tlaxcala, south with Huejotzingo, east with state of Tlaxcala, and west with San Salvador el Verde.
