Tourism and health training for hoteliers to avoid the spread of COVID-19

CITY OF PUEBLA, Pue.- The Ministry of Tourism and Health conducted training for hoteliers in Puebla on sanitary prevention measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

During the meeting, the participants agreed to reinforce the hygiene measures that they put into practice daily inside hotels in the municipality of Puebla and on the outskirts of the capital.

Preventive actions include: constant cleaning of all facilities, use of mouth masks by staff, placement of antibacterial gel, constant hand washing and avoiding the kiss greeting.

Likewise, the personnel who attend hotels or provide tourist services will be attentive to detect if any guest or user presents symptoms of this respiratory disease, such as cough and nasal fluid, in order to immediately refer them to medical services .

Through these actions, the Ministry of Tourism and the hotel industry of Puebla join the commitment to work in coordination to prevent the spread of the disease and to take care of the integrity of the personnel who work in the hotels and their visitors.
