MADRID, Esp.- Within the framework of the International Tourism Fair FITUR 2020, the State Government presented to the Spanish tourism industry the new brand for the promotion of the entity: “Puebla el Patrimonio de México”, which will boost the attractions at all levels.
Before tour operators and specialized press from that country, the Tourism Secretariat, María de los Ángeles Fabiana Briseño Suárez, stated that said sector is a fundamental axis, since it represents the opportunity to build large projects based on the heritage of the ancestors.
He said that through the concept “Patrimonio”, the virtues of the 32 regions that make up the entity are integrated, highlighting everything that makes this destination unique and unrepeatable.
Founded on five pillars that are: identity, tradition, culture, heritage and people, the entire heritage of Puebla is combined by a synthesis of the eight recognitions that the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) delivered to the state.
Given this, Briseño Suárez pointed out that Puebla currently has three inscriptions on the World Heritage list: the Historic Center, the convents at the foot of the Popocatepetl and the Tehuacán Valley; four inscriptions shared in the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage: the ceremony of the flyers, the traditional Mexican cuisine, the indigenous festivals dedicated to the dead and the handmade process of the talavera; and a global registration of the program “ Memory of the World ” by the Palafoxiana Library.
The eight declarations that together formulate with versatility of icons the assembly of a brand through the poblano heritage, or independently expose messages that demonstrate the great tourist diversity of Puebla.
A destination brand has been built that connects with the past, looks to the future and reflects an entity: rich, vast, proud and of incomparable tourist significance.
As part of the activities at FITUR 2020, the Puebla entity will hold business meetings and appointments with international tour operators, wholesalers, travel agencies, tourism offices in other countries and specialized media to promote and detonate the economic development of the state through the increase in tourism and the arrival of investments.
In the 2020 edition of this fair, 11 thousand exhibiting companies from 160 countries and 253 thousand people participate, as well as a wide and diversified offer.
