PUEBLA PRESENTS NEW DESTINATION BRAND FOR TOURIST PROMOTION

CITY OF PUEBLA, Pue.- By presenting the new brand for the tourism promotion of the entity: “Puebla the Patrimony of Mexico”, Governor Miguel Barbosa Huerta promised to recover the security of the state to increase the arrival of visitors.

“ We are working very hard to return to Puebla, to those who visit us, the security that they require so much, we will make our state, as a destination, a safe area for national tourism, foreign tourism to come here and that we can go , the poblalanos, to our own destinations”, Barbosa Huerta said.

Before artisans, service providers, representatives of Magical Towns, the hotel and restaurant sector, as well as chambers of commerce, he said that tourism is a fundamental axis, as it represents the opportunity to build large tourism projects based on the ancestors' heritage.

PEOPLE PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY: SECTUR

In the presentation of this new brand, whose objective is to promote at a local, national and international level the tourist, cultural and gastronomic wealth of the 32 regions of the state, the Under Secretary of Quality and Regulation of the Federal Tourism Secretariat, Humberto Hernández, was present Haddad, who highlighted the role that Puebla plays in the development of the country to defend a strategic sector that is currently the most solid and robust pillar of the national economy: tourism.

In the segment of the Magical Towns, he pointed out that Puebla has a very important mission that transcends borders and that it is a message to the world: “ the message of the magic of Mexico, which the Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco, has decided to internationalize with the creation of a government committee under strict regulations and regulation of governments that will enter into an alliance to promote a Mexican brand in world tourism, the Pueblos Mágicos brand, which is so endearing to Puebla”.

For its part, the secretary of Tourism, Fabiana Briseño Suárez, pointed out that Puebla currently has three inscriptions on the World Heritage list: the Historic Center, the convents to the foothills of the Popocatepetl and the Tehuacán Valley; four inscriptions shared in the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage: the ceremony of the flyers, the traditional Mexican cuisine, the indigenous festivals dedicated to the dead and the handmade process of the talavera; and a global registration of the program “ Memory of the World ” by the Palafoxiana Library.

The presentation was attended by Rosario Orozco Caballero, president of the Board of Trustees of the State DIF System; Miguel Torruco Garza, National Boxing Commissioner of the Office of the Presidency; David Méndez Márquez, Secretary of the Interior, as well as other members of the cabinet.
